Logging in
Type your own login number when the app asks. Your name fills in automatically on every log, so we know who did each count. If nobody touches the screen for 5 minutes, the app logs out by itself. Anything you hadn't submitted is lost, so finish and submit before you walk away.
Picking a log
The home screen has 3 big buttons: Meat Log, Sides Log and Hourly Count. You can also use the ☰ menu at the top left to switch logs, see History, read this page, export CSVs or log out. The title bar always shows which log you're on.
Meat Log
- Counts: each box has two numbers: ct (how many pieces) and lb (pounds). Hot is what's in the warmer/line, Cooler is what's in the cooler or warehouse, and Total should equal hot + cooler.
- SOD after Cut is different: the first box is the count (total number of individual meats), and the second, shaded box is backups (how many pre-sliced backup pans are sliced and ready).
- Ribs are counted in slabs, not bones.
- A.M. Warehouse Count: actually weigh what's in the warehouse in the morning. Don't copy last night's number.
- Prep & Cook Yield: enter the raw weight before cooking and the cooked weight after. The app works out the yield % (cooked ÷ raw).
- Trim: put the trimmer's name, the whole pre-trim count, pounds and cases, then the trimmed flats, points and pork. The app works out trim loss.
- Thaw counts: what to pull for tonight.
Sides Log
- Count sides in pans. SOD = start of day, MADE = pans made today, EOD = end of day. Don't skip MADE.
- The app works out Used = SOD + MADE − EOD, and pounds used: a bean pan is 15 lb, every other pan is 5 lb.
Hourly Count
Each hour has two boxes per item: the top is the count, and the second, smaller shaded box is the number of pre-sliced backup pans.
Submitting
Every tap of Submit saves a new entry. It doesn't change an earlier one. Submit once per log. If you made a mistake, tell a manager instead of submitting again. You can see past entries under ☰ → History.
